Jennifer just finished working on the independent feature film "PRETTY ROSEBUD" directed by Oscar Torre. The film is about the journey of a woman coming to terms with ending her marriage and moving on with her life. Stay tuned for details.
Jennifer recently worked on a staged reading of the play "ONE DAY: Sarah House". This is the same play that she performed at Center Stage Theatre in Santa Barbara last year. "ONE DAY: Sarah House" is based on interviews and stories from Sarah House, a hospice in Santa Barbara dedicated to "healing the dying" from a social, humanistic, rather than medical perspective. The play moves between the reality and dreams of residents and staff at Sarah House to the ancient Greek myths and practices that are inspiring some of the newest ideas in palliative care today.
Jennifer worked on Disney's animated show SPECIAL AGENT OSO. The show features an innovative mixture of digital cut-out, 3D, Photoshop and Flash Animation. And it stars Academy Award-nominated actor Sean Astin as the voice of Oso, a fuzzy, lovable, bumbling special agent-in-training who enlists the help of viewers at home to complete his missions.
Jennifer recently started a production company, Kohana Productions, Inc. Her goal is to produce independent feature films that feature strong female characters and Asian-American talent both in front of, and behind the camera. She is currently looking for projects with strong female characters in the following genres: drama, dramady, romantic comedy, psychological thriller.
You can currently hear her voice as the red head girl, Chelsea in the RUGRATS' animated television series ALL GROWN UP on Nickelodeon.
